An exciting opportunity is on offer for an experienced PR Officer to join Birmingham Womens and Childrens Hospitals award-winning Fundraising Marketing and Communications Team, on an interim basis to cover maternity leave.

Our current PR Officer is taking maternity leave and so we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to successfully drive forward the continued growth of the charitys fundraising, engagement and brand awareness, via owned and earned communications channels, to help drive income.

Day-to-day this could be writing or editing content for a range of channels, proofreading copy, sourcing imagery or helping to develop photographic or video content.

Therefore, organisational skills are crucial along with a keen eye for detail, strong copywriting and the ability to write for different audiences.

This will be up to a 12-month fixed term role.
