Social Worker - South Wales - Children's Intake & Assessment Team
Search Consultancy is currently recruiting for a Children's Social Worker to join a busy Intake & Assessment in South Wales

Job Duties:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape practice and performance in the team, whilst carrying a protected caseload. You will support the Team Manager and the team in delivering the Signs of Safety approach and a highquality service.
  • You will supervise staff and have opportunities to work closely with other agencies to develop services for young people.
  • Children's Services enables its staff to work flexibly and provides the equipment to work in an Agile Mobile way.
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection are key priorities for the Council. We aim to support children and vulnerable adults to ensure they are as safe as they can possibly be. Our services and schools are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of allchildren and vulnerable adults, and will take action to safeguard their wellbeing, and acknowledge that children and vulnerable adults have a right to protection
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Social Work Wales registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Postqualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
