Head of QA - Screening
Glasgow
As a Barclays Head of QA - Screening, you will work closely with Anti Money Laundering (AML) Quality Assurance (QA) Team Leader and QA Analysts and oversee the workflow of the QA sampling and testing processes across all relevant functions.
You will also ensure the transparency of quality rates, trends, and root causes of issues and drive improvements to the quality of the overall function through root cause analysis and quality recommendations to improve operational performance.

What will you be doing?:
- Overseeing the quality assurance of Financial Crime processes
- Managing all queues in relation to capacity, ensuring transparency of reporting, and escalations
- Building and maintaining ongoing feedback loop with operational stakeholders, key business areas and Compliance
- Being responsible for the oversight, coordination and responses to requests from third parties
- Managing key stakeholder information requirements through effective reporting of issues
- Identifying, monitoring, and supporting the remediation of issues as they arise
What we're looking for:
- Deep level knowledge and understanding of financial crime, specifically due diligence relating to the specific regulatory environment in which the role operates
- Proven Enterprisewide, global scale leadership experience
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, ability to negotiate and influence at MD /Director level and demonstrable collaborative approach
- Proven ability to Communicate often on complex technical issues to senior leaders to enable solutions to be identified
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Financial Crime/Compliance/Risk Management related qualification
- Proven experience of coaching and developing team members to high levels of performance
- Proven history of successful continuous improvement and process / control execution
- Bachelor's Degree level qualification or equivalent, with Financial Crime and/or Risk Management qualification is preferred
