Description

Key Worker - Food and Hospitality Department. Part Time. 22.2 Hours per week. Term Time Only 40 Weeks. Fixed Term Until 31 July 2025.


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Key Worker to support young people with a range of learning disabilities with their studies in our Business, Enterprise, Computer Science, Travel and Hospitality department.

You will be based within Food and Hospitality to help students to develop the skills, behaviours and attitudes that they need to enhance their inclusion within the college in order for them to become successful.


You must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
  • Level 2 qualification in Learning Support.


Experience of working within the secondary or 16-18 age group with a wide range of abilities, particularly at Entry and Level 1 would be beneficial.

You will have recent experience of carrying out tutorials or supporting individuals. A good understanding of additional support within an educational establishment would be helpful.

You will also be committed to working in a team to empower learners and develop their communication skills and independence.
