£27,470 per year

Nursling, Southampton

Our client, a large company offering services and distribution of products across the UK, are looking for a Warehouse Operative on a full time permanent basis This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic company

As a Warehouse Operative you will be required to carry out various duties which include:

Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring material and lorry is not damaged
Manual handling of materials to pick and pack orders accurately, efficiently and safely ensuring its ready to deliver on time
Operating the counterbalance forklift in line with correct safety guidelines
Quality checking of materials
Using the company computer system to invoice, ship, check stock and maintain stock integrity
Operating relevant machinery and keeping it clean and well maintained

You will also require the following experience for the Warehouse Operative position:

Previous warehousing experience
Counterbalance forklift experience
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Computer literate

The salary for this role will be £27,470 per year
