About the company
You'll be joining a fast-changing, multi-million-pound company, based at their head office in Newton Aycliffe.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be part of a dynamic finance team who are driving change and control across the business.

So, what's in it for you?

You'll be confident in assisting with the preparation of general ledger reconciliation, maintaining accurate financial records, balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with the VAT returns.

If you do not have the full experience of all of these, do not worry you can assist and learn.

Along with processing purchase invoices, raising sales invoices and dealing with any discrepancies you may find.

You will get flexibility on your start and finish times, meaning you can make time for the school run or that exercise class and have the opportunity to work from home one day per week if you wish.

Do you like to start the weekend early? You will also benefit from a slightly early finish time on a Friday.

You will be entitled to 25 days of holiday, plus statutory bank holidays, a private healthcare scheme and study support.

You'll be supported by senior members of the finance team who are happy to train you, but they will also listen and welcome ideas from you that may have been a success for you in the past.

About you
You're a problem solver, posses strong analytical skills and you'll have the ability to work accurately under pressure.

You will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and ideally you'll be studying towards AAT or equivalent qualification.

Above all, you will be driven, ambitious and have the desire to develop and progress.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
