MIDAS, one of the UK's most successful inward investment agencies, is seeking a new Head of Key Account Management, to lead our Key Account Management (KAM) team working with existing international investors in Greater Manchester (GM), in order to identify and support further job-creating investment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will lead MIDAS' Account Management activity across 400 of GM's largest and most strategically important foreign-owned businesses, in order to create and identify new investment opportunities and further embed them into the regional economy.
You will manage the delivery for the Department for Business and Trade Northern Powerhouse Key Account Management programme and line-manage the delivery team.
Your KAM team are tasked with building relationships with C-Suite contacts at foreign owned businesses in the City Region to understand each company's plans, current status, areas where MIDAS, and the wider Growth Company, can offer guidance, with the aim of identifying growth plans which will lead to further job-creating investment that will benefit both the company and the economic growth of GM.
The KAM team will maintain the relationships built and will continue to support the companies to ensure their growth plans come to fruition, working closely with partners such as the Department for Business and Trade, utilising their international teams as a 'virtual team' providing a direct link with the companies head offices.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced business professional with an entrepreneurial flair, who is;
- adept at building strategic relationships;
- delivers a hands-on approach to generating new business opportunities;
- can lead from the front;
- able to personally manage a portfolio of accounts effectively;
- line-manage a small team of Key Account Managers.
The role requires strong presentation skills, as well as experience of creating and writing professional client responses.
You will possess strong strategic sales, negotiation, and planning skills.
You will also have a record of building relationships with C-Level individuals within multi-national companies in a B2B environment, where a consultative and knowledge-based sales approach is required alongside excellent commercial acumen to identify new business and expansion opportunities.
Access to a vehicle and holding a current driving license is desirable - car allowance and expenses are available.

Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
Up to £51,200.00 per year
