Position:Entry-Level Project Coordinator

Pro-rated Salary:£24,000+

Working Hours:24 hours (3 days/week) with the ability to progress to full-time.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in managing construction schedules to ensure tasks are completed promptly.
  • Support the gathering of project requirements and establishment of design objectives.
  • Conduct site surveys and investigations under supervision.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout project phases.
  • Liaise with builders' merchants to negotiate and procure materials at competitive prices.
  • Assist in design development and refinement based on feedback.
  • Aid in finalising design documentation for construction purposes.
  • Keep track of deadlines for planning and ensure tasks are completed punctually.
  • Assist in the development of a contract management system for tracking contracts.
  • Monitoring of working hours, plans, and expenditures.
  • Issuing of appropriate legal paperwork, such as contracts and terms of agreement.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
  • Monitor project progress and address any arising issues.

Requirements:


  • Minimum GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
  • Interest in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions diligently.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and eagerness to learn.
