Description

Duties:


  • Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
  • Remove old roofing materials and inspect the roof for damage or leaks
  • Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
  • Install or replace flashing around vents, chimneys, and other roof features
  • Use power tools and hand tools to complete roofing tasks
  • Clean and maintain work area and tools

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
  • Excellent carpentry skills for repairing or building roof structures
  • Familiarity with masonry work for chimney repairs or construction
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£18.00-£20.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
