Community Coordinator (Multiply Project)

£21,806 - £23,860 per annum, pro rata (Pay award pending)

30 hours per week

Temporary to 31st March 2025

Do you want to help support adults in the Lancaster and Morecambe district build their confidence with everyday numeracy skills?

Lancaster and Morecambe College are a thriving FE College and justifiably proud of the strong links with our local community.

Located between Lancaster and Morecambe, we are proud to be our community's provider of technical, professional and creative education.

This role is linked to the Multiply project, a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills in innovative ways.

The programme aims to support adults with every day maths needs, building confidence with numbers and engaging learners through practical activities.

You will work with the Community team to recruit learners onto the programme, and the learners to ensure effective development and monitoring.

You should have experience in either course delivery; coaching or mentoring; learning support or youth/support work.

A Level 3 qualification in Numeracy, or equivalent work experience, is required and you will, if beneficial, have the opportunity to gain Level 3 qualification in Education and Training.

You will have good administrative and communication skills.

*You must hold a current driving licence and have access to your own vehicle with business use insurance*.
