Are you looking to join a fast-paced engineering environment in Ripley, Derbyshire?

We are looking for a team-oriented and hardworking individual to join a leading engineering firm as a shop floor laborer.

This role will offer an exciting and varied work environment, with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills, learn new ones, and be part of a successful team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the building of a wide range of machinery, along with heavy lifting and working with machine builders, fetching products and parts, and more.

Experience in a similar role, ideally in an engineering environment
Ability to work with accuracy and speed
Ability to work in a team
Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
Good communication and organizational skills
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret drawings

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £25,000, working 7-4, Monday to Friday and 7-1 on Friday. There is plenty of overtime available at premium rates should you wish to take it.
