Sales and Transport Officer

Our client, a leading company in the Newry Area are in search of a
Sales and Transport Officer to join their established team.

Main Responsibilities:

Scheduling transportation services, planning routes and assigning drivers
Developing and implementing improved transportation administration policies and procedures
Developing relationships with customers and third parties
Processing shipping documents, orders, and payments
Managing budgets
Monitoring driver' logbook entries and performing pay roll administration
Liaising with managers and drivers and collaborating with other departments
Actively seeking out new customers and opportunities
Planning routes and preparing schedules
Handling customer queries and escalating serious complaints to management
Complying to transportation regulations and company policies
Relevant qualification with a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar industry
Advanced competency in transportation management or logistics software
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
