Salary:
Up to £50,000 (Dependent on experience)

Our client is an accountancy firm with over 40 years of experience with national expertise in business advisory, offer a bespoke, personalised service tailored to the client's needs.

They have multiple offices and each of the offices offer a full range ofbusiness and advisory services.

Clients' needs are the focus of everything they do and knowing each client is unique and special with a range of different opportunities and challenges.

The Role:

This is a general
tax advisory role.

The Tax Advisory team will deal with a range of planning scenarios for the OMB clients, including Reorganisations, Succession Planning, Share Schemes, R&D and many other projects.

Responsibilities:

You will be required to manage a small number of other tax advisers in the team to manage projects from both a technical and delivery perspective.
You will also be responsible for a number of your own projects and will be required to identify opportunities within the firm and potentially develop your network outside of the firm.
You will need to be technically capable and a great communicator, with both fellow professionals and clients.r

Essential Skills and Experience:

You should have a relevant tax qualification, like CTA or ACA or be qualified by experience with demonstrable experience in providing Tax Advisory Services.
You should have worked in Tax Advisory Services for at least 5 years
Have a thorough understanding of advisory cases and the market for advisory services generally.
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Can prioritise workload effectively
Ability to communicate with a wide range of people such as team members, clients and occasionally employees on the payrolls
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Literate and numerate

Desirable:

Good attention to detail
Ability to work on their own and as part of a team providing a positive input to others
Maintain a professional and helpful manner
Good communication skills
