Description

Our client is currently recruiting for a Programme Lead, start ASAP, duration Length: 6-9 months, pay rate: £380 per day, hours Mon-Fri 37.5 per week, hybrid working role, location of the office Southwark.


Programme Lead objectives:


  • To support Directors of Adult Social Services across London to deliver their statutory duties
  • To further the interests of those who need social care services regardless of their backgrounds and status.
  • To promote high standards of social care services.
  • To influence national legislation and policy, in line with the values of our client, at local, regional, and national level.

Role summary

  • Develop, manage and give strategic leadership to the programme activity of our client and develop future work priorities and identify resources with our client.
  • Liaise with partners to ensure engagement with our client priorities and, where appropriate, ensure alignment of activities.
  • Ensure effective processes are in place for business plan development, programme implementation, budget management and stakeholder/partner relationship development.
  • Provide positive managerial support to both the core team and others working on our client projects.
  • Provide advice to key stakeholders both internally and externally with regard to the our client work programme.
  • Maintain overview and ensure effective monitoring of financial budgets in relation to our client. Ensure timely financial information and forecasts.
  • Ensure expert advice is provided to ensure all business requirements are met.
  • Identify and secure funding from other sources where resource allows.
  • Maintain links with national and regional colleagues and act as the key link to the Partners in Care and Health (PCH) programme.
