About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Designer to join the Group Data Office performing a key role within the Data Architecture function.

Reporting to the Enterprise Data Architect you will be responsible for delivering prioritised components of the data strategy roadmap for Royal London and providing expert direction across the enterprise information framework.

This is an opportunity to join a newly formed team full of individuals passionate and motivated to deliver change.

Key responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery of the detailed Data Architecture and designs for Projects & Programmes
Translate business requirements and outcomes into a detailed, commercially viable design
Ensure designs adhere to the Data Management & Change Framework (governance, data quality, privacy by design, data lifecycle etc)

Criteria
Strong knowledge of Data technology and concepts, primarily on the Microsoft Azure stack & services, Dynamics/CRM and Databricks. This includes designing data pipelines (Azure Data Factory), data security & lifecycle management, metadata management, data cataloguing, Data integration, Master Data Management, Reference Data Management, and systems of insight for ML/AI & self-service Analytics
Strong experience of integrating different Cloud based package solutions into a Data Architecture, including On-prem integration, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
Proven experience of supporting Data Architecture engagements for complex data programmes
Deep data domain knowledge regarding data & process flows within complex data architectures
