The Ipswich and East Suffolk (IES) Alliance is a collaboration of organisations dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our local populations in Ipswich and East Suffolk.

We are all committed to working together in a more joined up way in the best interests of the people we serve.

The Alliance will become the forum for primary and community service commissioning as well as the delivery of the whole place-based strategy.

We will move away from traditional commissioning models to a population health-based approach with ever greater integration of health and local authority services and greater parity between physical and mental health.

The Transformation Lead will work as part of the Ipswich and East Suffolk transformation team alongside system colleagues to drive forward the implementation of the Alliance transformation programmes.

The role will oversee a diverse suite of projects aimed at delivery of integrated place-based care across localities.

The postholder will continue to embed existing transformation projects already underway as well as develop new plans with the localities.

The postholder will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of demand management initiatives that shift activity from a reactive crisis place towards prevention and proactive support and care that improve the service user/s experience.
