Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for an experienced Partnerships Executive for a growing consultancy business in the exciting and booming data sector.

The business sits at an exciting place in the market; data is a hot topic for most businesses as a direct revenue driver.

This role is remote first, but you will need to be UK based and happy to travel to visit clients and partners on a regular basis.

The company we're recruiting for are helping customer facing corporates to drive commercial value from their data.

They help companies to understand how and where their data is stored, the commercial potential within their data and they then enable the adoption of modern data platforms for them to leverage data at scale.


Having to grown quickly, winning a number of new customers and expanding their technical team over the past couple of months they now need an experienced Partnerships Executive to support a pipeline of new commercial opportunities and critically, drive further growth.


Developing Partnerships and Growing Revenue:


The future success of this company depends on building strong technical and commercial partnerships with key players in the Modern Data ecosystem.

Over the past 6 months, they've developed mutually beneficial partnerships which are driving inbound opportunities with a 50%-win rate.


Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Partnerships Executive role is to maintain and grow these relationships, to build true partnerships for the benefit of our customers, partners and the business itself.


Key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Identify relevant and complimentary Partners, where there is a strong mutual value proposition and potential value for our customers
  • Build strong relationships with key Partners, in particular the Commercial teams
  • Work proactively to generate inbound Sales opportunities from the Partner Channel
  • Support the sales process where appropriate
  • Manage Partner Administration, which includes ensuring they have relevant certifications and the registration/management of new opportunities
  • Identify potential opportunities to introduce customers to our Partner network
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to grow awareness of our business amongst the Partner ecosystem.

Experience required for the Partnerships Executive role

  • At least 2 years' experience in a New Business or Partnerships role
  • Proven track record in proactively generating sales opportunities and/or winning business
  • A good relationship builder, who can identify and is interested in driving a "win, win" for both parties
  • Strong commercial acumen and an inquisitive approach
  • Background and interest in the Technology sector
  • Someone who is comfortable interfacing with Marketing, Sales and Technical teams
  • Experience in the Data sector is an advantage
