Partner Financial are working with a dynamic engineering consulting company with global operations and a turnover of £100M. The business has an established client portfolio providing ICT infrastructure engineering solutions with a significant track recordof growth due to their service focus and commitment to good practice and sustainability,

Reporting to the Finance Director.

you will be joining a dynamic team, to support the growth of the company's worldwide activities, taking ownership of the General Accounting function.

Key responsibilities:

Leading a finance team of 7 members responsible for all aspects of the company's financial accounting, including AP/AR, Payroll and Credit.
Supervising the closing of management and statutory accounts
Owning the treasury management for the business, this includes monitoring cash flows, bank relationship, and contracting of different currency hedges
Owning the migration process to an upgraded version of SAP
Supporting external advisors in all VAT and tax related aspects, as well as ensuring accurate and timely reporting is provided
Supporting on integration of new entities as a result from M&A activities
A Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA/CAT or equivalent)
Experience within the construction sector would be advantageous
A natural team player with welldeveloped interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and cooperation
Working experience on similar size organisation with overseas branches an advantage
An inquisitive mindset that continuously challenges and seeks process improvement
Experience managing and developing a high performing team
