CM16522 Finance Assistant | Temporary | York | £14-£16p/hour

Client:


Castlefield Recruitment are currently working to recruit a Finance Assistant into a subsidiary of one of the UK's leading groups in their field on a temporary basis.

The vacant position fits within a busy finance department and provides a varied role acrossall areas of transactional finance.


Role:

Temporary Finance Assistant with a strong chance of developing into a permanent position


Duties will include:


  • Process purchase invoices and obtain approval for payment
  • Carry out supplier statement reconciliations
  • Compile payment runs on a monthly basis, ensuring all supplier invoices are uploaded
  • Processing of cashbook entries and weekly cashbook reconciliation
  • Verify all new suppliers and subcontractors in line with IR35 and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) standards and manage monthly CIS returns
  • Any other finance duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager

Person:


  • Previous experience working in a finance position
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various areas of the business
  • Strong IT skills
  • A professional approach to the working environment
