Live-In Lifestyle / Care Assistant for a Creative Writing Uni Student

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a 20-year-old student, who is looking for a like-minded person to join their care team.

Join their team of PAs who provide their personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact to a young adult's life.

Start:

ASAP

Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off

Location:
Uni of Lincoln (LN6 7TS)

Pay:
£150 per day = £1,050 per week

Free accommodation whilst on shift.

Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

A Full UK Driving licence is required for this position as you will be required to drive the client's adapted vehicle.

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

About our Client
Our client is a University student who is studying creative writing at Lincoln University.

He lives with Cerebral Palsy, he is looking for someone understanding and patient, who can aid him in being as independent as possible.

Our client enjoys a wide variety of things including comedy nights, concerts, theatre trips, football games, spoken word events, clubbing and board game nights.

He also plays powerchair football for Nottinghamshire PFC and is in the National Premiership and Regional League

"It's important that you are willing to help me and accompany me to social events. I enjoy a wide variety of things including comedy nights, concerts, theatre trips, football games (playing powerchair football and watching games), spoken word events, board game nights etc. I need someone who will respect my privacy because sometimes I will want to be alone or with friends. I suffer from painful muscle spasms which I need help with by moving my legs to a more comfortable position. I am fully able to instruct what is needed and when for this issue"

Qualifications and Requirements:

A full and clean UK driving license (Essential)
Great working attitude
Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously
Physical fitness, patience, and a caring nature
Strong communication and listening skills
Mature and responsible attitude
Fluent in English
Clean and tidy appearance

Training and Development:

Full training in the client's particular needs will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals without previous care experience.

You will also have on-call support from our client coordinator team.
