We're in search of a dynamic, forward thinking Field Based Recruitment Lead with a desire for designing bespoke recruitment campaigns.

You'll be someone who's not just planning strategies but is keenly hands on, diving deep into the recruitment intricacies. But worry not, as you won't be venturing alone.

A dedicated field based team will be right there with you, complemented by a robust central team, geared to craft innovative recruitment solutions and campaigns.


With the recruiting landscape of the specialist education and social care sectors becoming ever more challenging, we need an individual who pairs resilience with an innovative approach.

Your role will demand a grasp of the latest recruitment methodologies, a flair for project management, and a continuous thirst for professional growth.


About the Role


Stepping into the shoes of a Field Based Recruitment Lead, you'll be accustomed to managing large recruitment volumes and will relish a busy work environment.

National travels will become a routine, as you stitch together community based recruitment strategies.

Hence, one of your pivotal roles will be to empower our regional teams, providing them with robust training to ensure they too can effectively spearhead recruitment drives.


In close collaboration with Macintyre's support groups, dedicated staff teams, and meticulous operational managers, you'll play a key role in devising and instituting localised recruitment frameworks.

These will be tailored - adopting a blended, bespoke approach to solve recruitment challenges.


Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Recruitment, your key tasks will include:

  • Bespoke Recruitment Campaigns: Craft and launch innovative, bespoke recruitment campaigns to cater to specific regional needs
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside central recruitment operations teams to elevate MacIntyre' profile
  • Training & Development: Training local teams & regional teams on recruitment best practice
  • Innovative Recruitment Solutions: Introduce and implement recruitment solutions within our hotspot areas
  • Regularly assess recruitment activity, deriving insights from data to refine and adapt recruitment strategies
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships, ensuring recruitment strategies are aligned with specific area or service needs.
In addition directly line manage team of field based recruitment practitioners Digital Strategy:
In partnership with Communication & Marketing colleagues, lead on recruitment social media campaigns


As Recruitment Manager, you will be used to working with volume and someone who thrives in a busy work environment.

National and frequent travel is a requirement of this role, building upon localised and community attraction techniques.

You will liaise closely with people who draw on MacIntyre's support, staff teams and operational managers, supporting them to identify and create localised recruitment plans, which adopt a blended and bespoke approach to providing recruitment solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment.

Key responsibilities for the Recruitment Manager will include:

Main Tasks

  • To provide direction, support and leadership to the Recruitment Team, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively
  • To offer bespoke, innovative and cost effective recruitment solutions to the operational areas of the business which are considered to be high risk/vulnerable
  • To support operational managers in appropriate workforce planning and deployment, creating strategic recruitment plans for their area/service
  • Develop market best practice relating to recruitment and workforce planning and through working in partnership with recruiting managers
  • Monitor recruitment activity and outcomes, critically analysing key data and producing relevant, accurate and timely management information to inform MacIntyre's recruitment plans
  • Develop quality relationships, in order to plan and deliver best recruitment needs for specific areas and or services.
  • Monitor and reduce, where possible, the costs of the recruitment and streamline processe
