We're working on behalf of our prestigious clients who are looking for a
Back End Web Developer in
Borehamwood. Our client is fully integrated within the pet health services and insurance domain.

They are among the Top 5 UK Pet Insurers with the goal of becoming number 1 Our client is currently going throughan exciting time having recently received funding to help to cement them as a global product leader, with company re-branding, scaling across departments, a huge cloud transformation and investment of new technologies.


What you'll be doing:


  • Improve the functionality, security and scalability of the backend services
  • Develop API end points to serve frontend data requirements
  • Work on and maintain legacy code bases
  • Collaborate effectively with the frontend dev team

Main Skills/ Requirements:


  • Development experience with PHP 7 and MVC frameworks
  • Linux server and LAMP configuration experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with MSSQL and MySQL
