Do you want to inspire the next generation of young women?


We are looking for strong mentors with street dance experience to work on our YWISE programme in the East Midlands.

YWISE is all about empowering young women.

You will work with a group of young women to improve their self-confidence and self-esteem through exercises and discussion, ensuring they have the skills and tools they need to take on a social action project.


You will have strong mentoring and communication skills and be confident and comfortable talking about a range a different topics which could include mental health, bullying, racism, stereotypes, feminism, body image and social media.

We encourage applicants with lived experiences to apply.


You will receive thorough training to understand our work and all our programmes and receive a detailed understanding of the work you will be undertaking.


Pay:
From
£10 an hour for Assistant Facilitators, up to
£25 an hour for Lead Facilitators


Job Type:
Freelance


Salary:
£10.00-£25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

Street Dance: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS issued within the last 2 years (preferred)
  • First Aid Certificate issued within the last 3 years (preferred)
  • Safeguarding Certificate issued within the last 3 years (preferred)
