Band 2 & 3 HCA roles. Inpatient unit. Nights/weekends/long days. Worthing. West Sussex
Hi,
We are looking for Band 2 & 3 for an inpatient learning disability unit in Worthing, West Sussex. The roles is full-time for a minimum of 3 months, plus ongoing extensions. If you are looking for a new contract and are available for work, please do get in touch.

Ability to work nights, weekend shifts, and long days is essential:


  • Band 2 rates = £12 for days / £15 for nights & Saturday / £18 for Sunday & Bank holiday:

Band 3 rates = £13 for days / £16 for nights & Saturday / £19 for Sunday & Bank holiday

Vacancy Details

  • The role is based at an inpatient assessment and treatment unit for adults with learning disabilities, including challenging needs, mental health needs or other complex needs.
  • The role involves supporting service users back into community living.
  • The unit works in partnership with the person, their family and carers to provide a range of expert individualised intensive assessment, intervention, group and therapeutic support.

The following skills/knowledge/experience have been specified

  • Learning disability experience is essential for this role
  • Up to 10 patients on higher observation, with a risk of high levels of violence and abuse, selfharm, mobility issues, eating and drinkingchoking risks and numerous other risky behaviours.
