As a Teaching Assistant you will be passionate about teaching and learning and believe in developing the true potential of children.
You will have a calm and positive disposition, the ability to break down activities into small step by step teaching and will nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils.
Implementing clear boundaries and routines, you will use positive behaviour management in all areas around school.The job requirements
We wish to recruit a highly committed Teaching Assistant who has knowledge and experience of working with children who have special educational needs.
Within this role you will also be working with and alongside a wide range of different professions all with the common goal of ensuring the best care and education is given to our children.
Good, clear and effective communication will play a key role in this position as you will need to work with and alongside the child, their family and other members of staff within the school.
You should have experience of working with children who have profound and multiple learning disabilities or Autism, ideally, but not necessarily in an educational setting.
You will be enthusiastic and passionate about child development, play and interaction with knowledge on how you can develop this further to enhance children's experiences.
