As a Barclays EMEA Loan Closing Change & Governance, you will be working within Loan Closing and Settlement teams who play an integral part of servicing Barclays client base.

This team act as the administrative point of communication for all loans tradedon the secondary market by Barclays in EMEA.

Within this role you will work alongside par and distressed loan closing, client confidentiality and settlement and servicing.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:

Partnering with Business and Infrastructure leads on operational impact assessments contributing towards progression of project pipeline
Developing and implementing strategies that ensure continual innovation and improvement to service delivery with focus on efficient operational processes
Preparing high level project updates to Operations Leadership and/ or Executive Committees
Ensuring all operational risks are understood with adequate controls implemented, risks mitigated and processes/ procedures are compliant
Managing the control environment effectively by employing appropriate governance of Risk, Control and Performance Indicators
Ensuring financial and operational performance objectives are met by driving solid risk management/ automation/ efficiency programs
Maintaining excellent relationships within Wholesale Lending, wider business partners and internal/ external stakeholders

What we're looking for:

Working experience in a similar operational Change/ Governance lead role
Solid understanding of risk management and ability to maintain a robust controls environment
Excellent communications skills, confident with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels
Knowledge of the loans market/ loan closing

Skills that will help you in the role:

Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced business environment, often with challenging stakeholders and competing priorities
Familiarity with IT systems across the Lending ecosystem including Intellimatch, Delphi, INFoRM, ACBS, Loan IQ, LoanConX, GBS and any other appropriate platforms
