Are you a Setting Out Engineer looking for a new challenge?

We are looking for an experienced Engineer who will be taking on setting out duties on new projects in the North East of Scotland.

You will be providing technical advice and managing site operations, including the planning of site progress.

You will ensure that the development is built to the specification of the company and Building Standards using specified drawings and instructionsand ensure that the project is completed within budget and on programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out of buildings, bolt sets, drainage, kerbs etc. using surveying equipment.
Overseeing contract works on various projects
Carrying out quality control and ensuring prepour checks are carried out accurately

- undertaking surveys where required.

Supervising staff and subcontractors where required.
Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets and timescales
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
Providing technical advice
Problem solving
Ordering materials and plant
Ensuring site safety

You must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, have supervisory experience and ideally have experience working on large scale projects up to £10 million.

SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid would be beneficial.
