Overview:

  • This position reports into the Head of Risk Transformation (EVP), Mastercard Risk
  • This can be defined depending on the location of the person?
  • The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing support to:1) the EVP, Head of Risk Transformation
2) the EVP, Europe and Regulated Entities Chief Risk Officer

  • The role includes performing general assistance across departmental/office activities
  • Seeking a highly organized, detailoriented, energetic, calm under pressure, and experienced Executive Assistant to create a positive and collaborative team culture.

Role:


The Executive Assistant will assist on a daily basis with time sensitive and highly confidential matters, including but not limited to regulatory, Risk Committee and entity Board materials and other items such as those relating to Group and Regulated Entity Risk Management, Risk and Control incidents/improvements, and Risk organization personnel.

As such, the ability to handle with insight such matters is critical.

As the administrative liaison, and a member of Mastercard Risk, we are looking for someone that embodies the Mastercard Way with doing the right thing by demonstrating decency, inclusion, and being a force for good.


Responsibilities include:

  • Perform general administrative duties to support daytoday department operations in such areas as calendar management, scheduling meetings; managing travel arrangements (including passports and visas as needed), expense reporting; and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
  • Partner with senior executive assistant of Mastercard Chief Risk Officer as backup admin.
  • Assist EVP's chief of staff with planning leadership meetings, offsite broader team meetings and client engagements.
  • Organize and coordinate team meetings and communication flow withing the team
  • Develop and produce team reports, as assigned.
  • Administer programs; projects or processes specific to the operating unit served; and maintains spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
  • May research special topics, as assigned.
  • May assist in preparing and maintaining departmental budget.
  • May monitor and coordinate work of other employees or temporary/contract resources.

  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion, and experience in working with highly confidential information.
  • Extremely collaborative and fostering a positive spirit and cando attitude and is also extremely open in accepting feedback and suggestions.
  • Adherence to the Mastercard Risk Team Agreement for Return to Office Company Strategy.
  • Extensive administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with csuite executive level management, senior customers, and board members.
  • Proficiency in Outlook and competency across the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with expense management platforms (such as Oracle).
  • Experience in harmonizing across matrixed, cross functional and global organization structure.
  • Experience in supporting senior level executives in a fastpaced corporate work environment.
  • Must be proactive and solution oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Intrinsicallymotivated, highly organized, detailoriented and resultsoriented.
  • Able to work well under deadlines, anticipate needs and prioritize work accordingly.
