Job Title:

  • New Claims Advisor

Salary:
£21,898 plus bonus (around £250 extra per month)


Location:
Lichfield/Hybrid


Duration - Permanent

Hours: 8am - 8pm Monday to Saturday on a rotational basis (occasional Sunday & Bank Holiday's may be required)


We are looking to recruit two additional members for a busy team delivering high quality, telephone based sales through service experience to customers following their involvement in non-fault accident.


You will be required to provide first line support to new customers, converting the initial call into a new claim, through the provision of excellent service, attention to detail, recording of events and booking repairs.


Key Duties:


  • Processing, managing and converting new claims in line with business requirements
  • Communicating with third parties and colleagues over the phone to ensure all relevant information is captured in order to convert to claims
  • Updating systems with an accurate record of discussions around new and existing claims
  • Delivering excellent customer service, you will support internal and external processes to help manage a smooth and efficient service to partners and customers
  • Using open questioning and active listening to gain an understanding of the situation whilst demonstrating empathy to ensure all relevant claim information is captured and recorded
  • Speaking to customers and witnesses to gain an understanding of the situation and whether a claim can be made
  • Observing and complying with GDPR
  • Working to set objectives and targets

Key Skills/Experience Required:


  • Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven, customer focussed environment
  • Experienced working within a telephonebased role
  • The ability to learn new processes
  • Competent in MS Word and Excel
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to capture clear logical information
  • Ability to effectively manage professional relationships with business partners and clients
  • Results driven with experience of achieving against targets
  • Excellent prioritisation skills, recognising the importance and urgency to work to tight deadlines at pace
