We are looking for people to join our Customer Services team working in the City Contact Centre, The Information Zone and Main Reception.


We are recruiting for:

1 permanent part time post 22.2 hours

1 permanent part time post 30 hours

Responsible to the Team Leader, Customer Service Officers will respond to enquiries from the public on a wide range of Council Services.

Your aim will be to fully answer queries over the phone and in person initiating services for the customer in a friendly, helpful manner.

You will also identify any shortfalls in information provision to fully respond to public enquiries.


You will be educated to A-level standard or have at least 1 years' experience in a call centre or customer services environment.

As an excellent team player you will have a good understanding of customer service principles and have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.

You will work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise your own workload.
