This client is a leading manufacturing business and works with both UK and overseas clients.

They have an excellent reputation for quality, innovation, and development and they have an exciting role to join them as a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to work withintheir team.

This role will support both the Production and Purchasing Managers in ensuring an efficient and smooth process.

Our client is seeking an ambitious and friendly individual who has excellent planning and analytical skills and wishes to be part of a business that is going from strength to strength.


Job Description:


  • Buying a category of products and services for the company
  • Optimising stock levels and stock availability in line with agreed targets
  • Managing new and existing suppliers' performance
  • Supporting of renegotiations and costsaving activities
  • Liaising closely with other departments within the business such as customer service, operations, and development
  • Crosstrain within other departments within Supply Chain i.e., the Despatch team
  • Educated to degree level ideally within Business Studies, Economics, or similar
  • Strong IT skills strong Excel skills
  • An analytical person who has the ability to plan and prioritise workload and projects to meet deadlines
  • Persuasive and personable individual
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong communicator at all levels
  • Previous buying, supply chain, or purchasing experience is an advantage but not essential

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm


Salary:
£26,000 Per Annum
