The Role:


We are seeking a highly creative and talented Art Director to join our Brand and Communications Team at Moonbug Entertainment.

As an Art Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the visual identity of our brands across various platforms and media.

Your innovative ideas, strategic thinking, and exceptional design skills will be instrumental in elevating our brand presence to the next level and engaging our audience.


Responsibilities:

Generating artwork in areas of specialisation which may include character, environment, props, textures, mood, and story concepts, which clarifies creative intent.

Accountable for on time, on-budget execution, and delivery of all design assets

Develops and maintains the overall look of the series as well as related content.

Reviews and approves designs, artwork, and additional graphics developed by other staff members for the series.

Understands the design elements of projects, inspires and leads other creative workers, and keeps projects on budget and on time.

Determines how best to represent a concept visually.

Communicates with senior production leadership to ensure designs fall on schedule and within scope.

You are happy to use your own initiative to inspire and lead our Brands & Franchises

Oversee and provide approvals of artwork, providing thoughtful feedback, as well as drawovers if necessary to external vendor pre-production stakeholders.

Taking projects from concept through to execution bringing original thought, style and finesse at every opportunity

Understanding and responding to both offline, online and social briefs with varying turnaround demands

Working with the Creative Director to provide ongoing support and mentorship to the wider Creative team

Maintaining graphic consistency across all deliverable

Reviewing graphic materials to assess its validity and appropriateness for the brand
***
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Effective listener and communicator to understand and portray the creative needs of client service teams
  • You work well in a closeknit team, happy and willing to share your skills to inspire others
  • Being able to constructively critique and challenge ideas
  • You can work across multiple different brands, categories, disciplines and channels
  • You enjoy and are able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
