Calling all Teaching Assistants An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a modern 11-16 secondary school in St. Helens

Tradewind are seeking two dynamic, motivated and dedicated individuals to join our 11-16 client secondary school as a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, starting after the Easter holidays until the end of the academic year in July.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a real difference to the lives of young people.

As a Teaching Assistant working in a secondary school, you will:

Be working alongside teachers to support students in the classroom
Help students to reach their full potential.
Provide 1:1 support to students, assisting with lesson preparation and delivering interventions.
Be expected to support the teacher in maintaining discipline and creating a positive learning environment.

To join us and be considered Teaching Assistant position you must:

Have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children and young people (reference required)
Ideally worked with secondary aged students
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
Have the legal right to work in UK
Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references
