Do you have Customer Service experience, and are you seeking a full-time role in Preston? Electricity North West is looking for a Connections Assistant to join our welcoming and friendly team and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package, including the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.

Some of your primary responsibilities as a Connections Assistant will include:

Answer incoming customer enquiries, on the connections enquiries phone line and maintain answer rates to the set performance targets
Utilise GIS cable records and the national grid database to check existing infrastructure and interpret the information to provide customers with advice
Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service
An appreciation of underground and overhead networks
Experience working within a highly regulated environment
Excellent IT skills
Commercial awareness
