Trainee Management Accountant to join a dynamic regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles.

Based in
Portsmouth, you will join us on a
full-time, permanent
basis, and in return, you will receive a

Key responsibilities as our
Trainee Management Accountant will include:

  • Working with operational colleagues to understand the key drivers of the contract, the impact of operational decisions on the finances and providing crucial financial feedback into the team
  • Acting as the key finance contact for various contracts within the business
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Partnering the business, to support with a wide variety of finance queries, requests, and activities
  • Clearly interpreting and explaining financial results

What we are looking for in our
Trainee Management Accountant:

  • AAT or equivalent
  • CIMA Part Qualified
  • Previous employment in either construction, maintenance, manufacturing or a similar industry is preferrable
  • Management accounting background.
  • Understanding of labour recovery models
