We are pleased to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a high-performing trust based which has grown significantly over the last two years.

The role will offer a generous pension scheme and flexible hybrid working. The office is based in East Cambridge.

  • Manage the purchase ledger including ensuring that purchase orders are raised as appropriate, process invoices for payment and prepare regular payment runs,
  • Manage central bank accounts, recording transactions and reconciling regularly,
  • Manage process for ensuring that no trust bank account is overdrawn,
  • Manage prepayments and accruals and month end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts,
  • Manage the Trust's central finance mailbox, and other correspondence, taking a proactive approach to resolving queries and referring on to more senior staff if appropriate,
  • Manage upload of monthly payroll journals for all offices, ensuring that all payroll journals balance, and that staff are properly coded.
