Applicant would be working as part of a team,

We would like some experience of working in the manufacturing industry,You need to be good with your hands and competent using power tools & hand tools,

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our Hose manufacturing Department at our site based in Longbenton


Main duties:

  • Manufacturing rubber hoses and other rubber products
  • Report breakdown, repairs to management team
  • Ensuring Dimensions/tolerances/quality check are completed.
  • Capable of reading drawings and completing documentation
  • Possible various help around the factory when required.
  • Can be physical work, handling heavy items.

Preferred Experience in:

  • Using handheld tools such as grinders, sanders, drills.
  • Preferred experience in rubber hose manufacturing,
  • Capable of reading drawings, reading tape measures, using verniers
  • Hand fabrication skills in making bespoke products
  • Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Full Time position available from January 2023, wage experience depending with further review after successful 3 months probationary period


Salary:
£9.50-£11.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Manufacturing: 4 years (preferred)
Hose Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
