Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the well-established payroll team. Our client is looking for a new member of staff for their large payroll team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will provide a comprehensive Payroll service by ensuring payments are processed in accordance with statutory requirement.

Acting as the expert in all matters relating to the day-to-day running.

Implementation of the Payroll service, you will ensure that appropriate strategies and change plans are developed, and implemented with best practice adopted wherever possible.

Extensive payroll experience, particularly in a supervisory role, including a thorough knowledge of statutory requirements in respect of Income Tax and National Insurance.

The ability to communicate ideas and information effectively, being able to negotiate and influence others, is essential. As is, the ability to think creatively, laterally, in order to identify opportunities and initiate new ideas.

Proven advanced knowledge of windows based packages including Excel and Word, and use of, with the ability and willingness to assimilate technological advances.
