About the Role

***We are seeking to appoint an individual with a passion for teaching, who likes to innovate with their pedagogic practice and create engaging educational experiences for students taking optional modules with IATL. The role involves the teaching of interdisciplinary modules, at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, and collaborating with members of staff from across the University on imaginative pedagogic projects.


About You

***You will have a PhD or equivalent professional experience (preferably in a science-related discipline) and experience of teaching interdisciplinary modules.


You will have the ability to develop new interdisciplinary modules and to support colleagues across the University in developing and embedding innovative teaching practices either through contributing to IATL's portfolio of modules or new departmental/faculty initiatives.


You have an interest in contributing to and developing technological innovations in teaching and have an interest in publishing about your pedagogic research.

IATL supports educational innovation through collaborative teaching and student research in interdisciplinary and international learning environments.
