Hours: 9am-5pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Days:
Monday to Friday


We are a Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Company, with our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent and offices in Slough and Birmingham.

Our engineers carry out maintenance across the south of England and into the Midlands.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill this newly available Accounts role. You will join us during an exciting period of development as we introduce new technologies to the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverseteam who interact with all areas of the company.

Our company are currently going through a change of two systems and preferably would like someone who is happy to work under an old and new system for a temporary period.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking and recording weekly time sheets for around 80 employees.
  • Processing the correct overtime is paid monthly.
  • Checking that all holiday and sickness is recorded correctly.
  • Recording business mileage and checking its compliant as per HMRC legislation.
  • Processing weekly/monthly expenses for over 100 employees.
  • Updating employee bank details when needed.
  • Issuing new holiday forms.
  • Preparing payroll information to a monthly deadline.
  • Processing expense payments to a monthly deadline.
  • Responsible for issuing out tools and equipment is calibrated.

Skills and Experience:

  • Confident on the phone
  • Good communication and administration skills
  • Good understanding of expenses so correct VAT is claimed back
  • Good accuracy skills
