Infrastructure Engineer / IT Support Engineer required for my client based in Cambridge for a permanent role paying £41k

This is a hybrid role


Essential experience & technical abilities:
- " Windows server support experience
" Experience managing a Windows Active Directory, DNS,DHCP,GPO, MDT, and Exchange environment
" Experience of implementing and managing large SAN environments
" Extensive knowledge of enterprise Ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching and IP addressing
" Understanding of communication technologies including SDWAN, SIP, Ethernet.
" Excellent communication skills and experience effectively communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
" Demonstrate efficient and effective use of problem-solving and task prioritization to solve complex technical challenges
" Management of virtualisation technologies particularly VMware.
" Hands-on experience installing, managing, upgrading and troubleshooting enterprise-class voice systems preferably with a focus on Mitel technologies.

Preferred / likely experience & technical abilities:

  • " Recognised industry qualifications such as MCSE, CCNA etc
" Knowledge of systems in use by the group
" SDWAN experience
" Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Office365)

- " Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
