Job Title:
Temporary SOP Development Specialist


Duration: 6 months

Company Overview:


Newton Property Management was founded in 2001 and has grown organically, and through acquisition, to become one of Scotland's biggest and best Property Management businesses, looking after 30,000 properties across the country.

This role will be based in our Glasgow office but may require travel to our north of Scotland offices from time to time.

The role will be 35 hours per week,

Monday to Friday.


Position Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a temporary basis as an SOP Development Specialist.

The primary responsibility of this role is to document and create comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of our business operations within the designated timeframe.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of existing processes, workflows, and operations across departments.
  • Collaborate with department heads and team members to gather information and insights into current procedures.
  • Create clear and concise documentation of Standard Operating Procedures for each department or specific tasks/processes within the organization.
  • Organise and present SOPs in an easily accessible and understandable format.
  • Establish a system for regular review and updating of SOPs to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure SOPs align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on utilizing and implementing SOPs effectively.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in process documentation, SOP development, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex processes and translate them into clear, stepbystep procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively with various levels of the organisation.
  • Detailoriented approach and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in document management and formatting tools/software.

Additional Information:


  • This is a temporary position with a duration of 6 months.
  • The role may require occasional travel or interaction with various departments within the organisation.
