A Hybrid working model

What does a Head of Integrated Production do at Hogarth?


The Head Of Integrated Production is a newly created leadership role funded by both Hogarth and Ogilvy, setting the vision and strategy for all aspects of Production in Ogilvy UK tapping into the full network and capabilities of Hogarth.


Under your leadership we will draw together skills and expertise from across the businesses into one team of 'makers' that will sit at the heart of the agency.

This team will provide end-to-end production capabilities while seamlessly connecting to the creative, design, digital and delivery capabilities.

Hogarth provides production methodologies to keep Ogilvy at the forefront of innovative making through strategic, technology and craft capabilities.

This opportunity enables access to and learnings from Hogarth's offerings, as well as a pipeline into its scaled studio network.


You will define and align our agency production strategy, which will include outsourcing and 'off staffing', to ensure there are frictionless ways of working in place to maximise the potential of our partnerships inside and out of WPP.


The Head Of Integrated Production will have ultimate responsibility for the production outputs for all our clients and will have financial accountability for the team and the cost centre.

You will line manage a team of circa 15 producers and makers, and will report into to Victoria Day, Managing Director of Ogilvy UK, Monica Taylor, UK MD Hogarth and Dave Rolfe, Global Head of Production of Hogarth and Ogilvy.

This role will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Creative

  • Seamlessly partnering with the CECD and Ogilvy Creative Leadership Team on best production practice for the agency
  • Ensuring we have a black book of of tried and tested partners to deliver on creative and client needs
  • Actively consider and propose virtual production solutions as well as the use of AI tapping into WPP capabilities and network
  • Build strong partnership and trust with the Creative leadership support on improving creative output / craft. This partnership will be critical for the success of this role.
  • Work with the creative department on production output and best practice to ensure execution of the creative concept is the best it can be
  • Ability to sell the capabilities of TheMaker Studio to creative community locally and globally
  • Garner a deep understanding of the local, regional and global production offerings within WPP, Hogarth and the Hogarth Network, Ogilvy (including C2 Studios and the Hogarth GDC network) to capitalise on the talent in the network.
Client accountability

  • Key stakeholder for production output across the client groups to ensure best practice and output
  • Able to share the Ogilvy Production vision to clients to drive additional revenue and creative output
  • Ability to sell the capabilities of the new Maker Studio to clients and internal stakeholder
Financial Accountability

  • Accurate quarterly forecasts alongside the Ops team
  • Build and Manage the team as a profitable cost centre
  • Identify staffing efficiencies and utilisation challenges and resolve efficiently
  • Ensure the teams are delivering productions on budget and within the agreed timeframe
  • Team Management from a staff cost perspective and managing this
  • Audit and ISO responsibilities to include sustainability
  • Strong financial acumen and nous to drive thinking differently and proactively about how to solve production conundrums
People

  • Delivers on our people management strategies
  • Responsible for the culture of The Maker Studio
  • Ensuring DE&I is built in to all elements of our production team and our output
