We currently have nine locations in the UK that cover the country from Aberdeen to London with clients spread across multiple sectors.

About the role:

We have an excellent development opportunity for two
Trainee Traffic Management Operatives to join the team in our
Amersham Depot.

Most of your time will be spent working out of Amersham depot but may require infrequent travel to join teams across our other UK operations.

On commencement of employment, you will be required to undertake a mandatory drugs test and due to the nature of the business and our client relationships, the company reserves the right to ask employees to undergo random drug testing.

Rates of pay are highly competitive and dependent upon the level of qualification. Operatives usually achieve the 12D M1/M2 qualification within 3-6 months.

You will be at work 10 hours per day Monday to Friday, totalling 50 hours per week inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

The start time of your working day is not fixed as it is dependent on business requirements but will be within a window of 06:00am-10:00am.

You may from time to time be required to work alternative work patterns which may include nights, weekends, bank holidays, to meet the business requirements.

Scope of Role:

Maintenance, delivery, installation/removal, service and operation of traffic management equipment and systems on the public highway.

Professional liaison with customers on site and members of the public.

Completing site paperwork using field service tablets.

Yard duties as designated by project management

Pre-requisites:

Physically fit and in good health

Have a passion for working in Traffic Management

Excellent time-management skills

Willing to work outside in all weathers

Self-starter and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

Organised with attention to detail

Hardworking and Enthusiastic

Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check (pre-employment and random)

Right to Work in UK

Team Player

Qualifications:

Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
