Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a

local authority in the

Hampshire region, to recruit experienced

Master Planning Urban Designer. If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,

Contract: 3-6 months (Possible extension)

Salary:
£52 p/h (Umbrella)

Start Date:
ASAP

Shift Pattern: 36 hours per week /Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

DUTIES

Collaborate with the master planning team to identify, interpret and input spatial data requirements for the economic development and regeneration initiatives.
Utilise GIS software (or equivalent) and tools to create, manage, analyse, and present spatial data effectively.
Develop detailed maps, mapping layers and other visual representations to support the master planning activities and aid decisionmaking processes.
Assist in identifying areas of opportunity and potential risks in the area plans.
Provide additional capacity to incorporate information from other service areas, such as transport and estates into the master planning programme.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
At least 2 years' experience within a Urban Designer role or equivalent.
Previous experience of using GIS software is essential.
