About your new role as Transport Administrator
This is a busy cutomer facing role that involves:

  • Being the first point of contact for visitors and contractors and associated record keeping
  • Ensuring transport management system is kept up to date by booking in / out all vehicles
  • Process customer orders daily, liaise with logistics team to ensure all orders can be fulfilled
  • Update and issue reports
- highlighting any issues

  • Ensure returns process and control for raw materials is actioned in a timely manner
  • Liaise with other areas across the site to ensure accurate, current information shared
  • Print and issue accurate documentation to other departments in a timely manner
  • Act as main admin hub for warehouse and logistics and escalate actions as appropriate

Transport area:
(full training will be given in this area)

  • Book vehicles in and out of the site in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the transport management system and conformance to booking targets
  • Ensure sufficient vehicle availability from 3rd party hauliers to cover planned loads
  • Checking continually against planned production, advising warehouse / logistics / hauliers of any issues.
  • Ensure health and safety standards for all vehicles arriving and departing site are adhered to
  • Support the loading of tankers on site for offsite production.
Hours of work
Nightshift - 18:15pm to 06:30am - 4 on 4 off


About you:

  • Ideally you'll be a confident administrator with experience working in transport/logistics
  • Strong IT skills including excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software
  • Experience in the use of Transport Systems would be an advantage.

This is a PAYE contract, where you accrue holidays separately from your wages at 28 days p.a. pro-rata and contributions are made towards your pension as per current legislation.
