Description
Provide administrative support to the Continence Advisory Service- Manage telephone calls on an individual basis with service users and deal sensitively and appropriately and take relevant action depending on the nature of the call.
- To input patients order details onto the continence service product databases and observe confidentiality in accordance with GDPR.
- To act as a link between staff, service users and other service users by receiving and giving informed and accurate information, whilst maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Provide general and product related advice and information to service users, carers and clinical staff over the telephone.
- Arrange clinic appointments as appropriate.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the patient and carers emotional needs.
- To maintain adequate supplies and equipment for the department, checking stock deliveries against delivery notes, reporting discrepancies / damages and follow up as appropriate.

The 3/4 "must haves" for you to be considered for this role:
- Minimal face to face patient contact however must have excellent Interpersonal telephone skills
- be able to manage sensitive personal information.
- IT skills knowledge of key operating systems such as Microsoft and RIO
- Manage own workload daily, independently and without supervision and to demonstrate the flexibility required to respond to interruptions and changing priorities.
- Experience of databases and record keeping.
