About the Finance Division

Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands.

About the Role
This role is a varied role within the Ingenuity finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who is currently studying at AAT Level or who is AAT Qualified.

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for supporting operations of the Commerce Finance team, including managing headcount/timesheet reporting, managing supplier/client setups and assistance with the month end activities.

Responsibilities:

Management of client onboarding Supplier and Client masterdata setup.
Creating new users on Zoho TT, Archiving Leavers on Zoho TT
Management of Divisional Timesheet compliance and reporting
Management of Headcount allocation and reporting
Assist with resolving client queries ensuring we respond to clients in a timely manner.
Month end duties including posting journals to accurately allocation costs.
Supporting the Financial Controller with improving finance reports and process.
Assist in developing strong controls and procedures, providing a strong base for the continued rapid growth of the business.
Assist with External and Internal Audits as required.
Consistently and accurately meeting internal and external deadlines.
Initiator of change including mapping and documentation of business and system processes.

Requirements:

Strong MS Office skills, particularly excel.
Experience of interacting across various levels of the organisation including dealing with nonfinance people to gather relevant information.
Excellent attention to detail.
Enthusiasm to take on new challenges that will develop your career.
Experience using Sage.
Worked in a fastpaced environment.
Strong motivational and innovative skills, with a "can do" attitude.
Selfmotivated with a high degree of drive and enthusiasm.
This role would suit someone either in a similar Finance Assistant role, or someone currently in an Accounts Payable role or similar, looking for a move into a Finance Assistant position.
