Production Assistant in Electrospinning

Grade 6:
£28,098 - £33,518 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Assistant in Electrospinning at the Botnar Research Centre, NDORMS, University of Oxford.

The translational research team led by Professor Pierre-Alexis Mouthuy is looking for a highly motivated production assistant with a keen eye for detail in order to be part of the team.

With this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of translational research related to biomaterials and medical devices, with also the possibility of supporting the research team in designing and manufacturing new implants.

As a Production Assistant in Electrospinning you will be assisting with the manufacture of an electrospun implant for knee ligament repair in a cleanroom and supporting the development of regulatory documentation related to the product.

In addition, contributing to discussions and sharing research findings and materials with colleagues in partner institutions and research groups.

This is a full time fixed-term appointment for 1 year.
