AP Treasury Administrator to come and join our team at our
Head Office,
Leicester Rd Ibstock Leicestershire LE67 6HS

Job Purpose:


As part of the Shared Service Centre, and reporting to the AP Supervisor, you will provide Banking administration support to facilitate timely payments and banking reconciliations across the Ibstock Group of companies.


Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare and process BACS payments and electronic transfers in GBP and foreign currency
  • Allocate manual cash payments and clear direct debit settlements against supplier accounts
  • Maintain the cash book and prepare and post journals to reconcile the bank accounts across all Ibstock legal entities
  • General banking administration duties including providing access to banking portal, adding or closing accounts, adding approvers.
  • Complete setup and ongoing administration of the Selfbill process each month
  • Ensure compliance to appropriate internal controls and adherence to company policies
  • Liaise effectively across all departments to ensure accurate and timely coding of receipts and payments
  • Assist with regular cash flow reporting and analysis
  • Admin relating to staff expenses and credit cards.
  • Validating supplier bank details as per our supplier onboarding process

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Excellent attention to detail, with methodical approach to tasks.
  • Selfstarter and 'can do' attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Effective management of working time and being able to prioritise tasks

Desirable

  • Previous treasury administration experience
  • Experience of Microsoft office and experience with accounting software
